About Inquirement
Inquirement has been developed as a culmination of more than 25 years of design and development experience. Years where the value of proper Requirements Management, Risk management, Systems Engineering and Knowledge Management have been acknowledged, but also the observation that often the persistence or training to fully harvest the benefits is lacking. Inquirement is designed to offer all benefits of these valuable techniques with minimal administrative workload. Intuitive, so it requires minimal training. User friendly, so it can be used during brainstorm sessions.
During complex problem solving, progress doesn’t come from rushing forward — it comes from asking the right questions, finding what matters, and structuring creativity into something real. The semantic rules within Inquirement enable it to formulate Design Problems based on the Requirements that must be solved. This feature helps to formulate the problem precisely.
Risks are identified by introducing a Requirement that it should not happen. The introduced requirement is the best guarantee it will be solved. Less risky options will emerge as the preferred solution. Linking each solution to a Requirement ensures each feature should actually exist.
"If you write the problem down clearly, then the matter is half solved."
